Subjects

Our curriculum progression has been planned right from Nursery through to year 6 to ensure it is progressive and linked. Every subject has a clear overview map to identify what will be covered and when to ensure there are no gaps in learning. As we are a 1.5 entry primary school with some mixed year group classes, we operate a 2-year cycle of learning, this is carefully planned to ensure the full range of knowledge and skills can be taught for each subject, and consideration of the prior learning needed to access the new learning.
